Jacob Smith House

This civil war era structure, constructed in 1859, is the oldest residence in Lacey and one of the oldest homes in Thurston County. It features a spectacular view of Mount Ranier and park-like grounds with a gazebo. The Jacob Smith House is available on a rental basis for weddings, receptions, seminars, and retreats.

St. Martin's University and Abbey

Founded in 1895 by the Catholic Benediction Order. Historic, ivy-covered "Old Main" is home to the Waynick Museum and Capps Art Gallery. A self-guided tour brochure is available at the Information Center.

Washington State Capitol Campus & Visitor Services

One of the most beautiful capitols in the nation, the Washington State Capitol Campus features a domed legislative building, conservatory, and numerous war memorials and fountains. The Capitol Campus is located 3 miles south of Lacey via Interstate 5, Exit 105A.
