Information about the Lacey Chamber of Commerce

The Lacey Chamber was established in 1961. We are a direct link to the business community. Formed from unincorporated areas of Olympia, Lacey has been an independent, pro-business community since its beginning. A nine-member board of directors oversees the Chamber's activites along with an executive committee of five members. The Chamber works hard to maintain Lacey as an economically dynamic community and to ensure an outstanding quality of life. From taxes to school bonds, sign ordinances to parades, the Lacey Chamber has taken an active role in community life.

The Lacey Chamber hosts the Lacey Visitor Center on behalf of the City of Lacey. Located in the Chamber office at 8300 Quinault Drive, the Visitor Center provides maps, brochures, and other information on Washington State, Thurston County, and the Lacey, Tumwater and Olympia communities. The staff sends out relocation information to anyone considering moving to the Lacey area. The Visitor Center is the hub for people visiting the area.

The Lacey Chamber connects members to each other and further develops relationships in the community. Discounted advertsing rates and countless opportunities for members to promote their business through networking after-hours events, grand openings, open houses, and various committees, workshops and special events, as well as through online and print publications, is exclusively offered to Chamber members.

Today, the Lacey Chamber enjoys beneficial working partnerships with the City of Lacey, Thurson Economic Development Council, North Thurston Public Schools, local higher education institutions, the local Military community, and our business members.
